SIAP Norway AS
Director and Aviation Psychologist Jon Lars Syversen graduated as Cand. Psychol in clinical psychology at University of Oslo in 1986. He worked in the Armed Forces (FPPS) with leadership training and selection until joining SIAP as a consultant in 1990. He has since then worked with selection and training for a wide range of Scandinavian and international airline operators and companies, and assessed more than 3000 candidates. Besides he has been a consultant in leadership assessments and development for maritime and offshore operators, telecom companies and others.
Confidentiality and Ethics
- Personality test results are not given to the client company, or the applicant. The client company receives only a report with the assessments according to the evaluations of the aviation psychologist. The applicant receives feedback on the personality test by the end of the interview, and when agreed and applicable a result sheet/Certificate with a summary of the psychological evaluations.
- All aptitude- and personality test results, created online or in paper, are destroyed when the recruitment process is completed. SIAP keeps a digital copy of the assessment report, encrypted and safely stored.
- All reports sent digitally are encrypted and protected with a password. The passwords are sent in a SMS-message to the recruitment manager. The recruitment manager is committed to keep all confidential data and reports safely stored.
- SIAP Norway AS will under no circumstance provide any test results or assessment reports to any third party. The only exception is if the applicant personally makes a specific, written request for documentation on having attended an assessment.
- Very sensitive private information might be shared during the interview with the aviation psychologist. Generally, that kind of information will not appear in the assessment report or provided to the client company. If relevant for the assessment of suitability, the psychologist will only forward evaluations of the consequences pertaining to suitability.
- SIAP Norway AS and any herein subcontracted aviation psychologist, is committed to execute all assessment activities with the highest respect for the individual applicant, and without any kind of prejudices.
